Hello and welcome. The goal with the I love Winnipeg Real Estate Podcast is to provide you valuable information on how you can benefit from buying, owning and investing in the Winnipeg stable and growing real estate market.

About 25 years ago, I actually wanted to become a radio show host and started a station over the intercom system at Bruce Middle School in St. James called BMS Radio. I purchased my first rental property 15 years ago, a duplex in Saint Boniface, which has led to owning and managing a portfolio of multifamily residential properties here in Winnipeg. That led to accidentally becoming a landlord and property manager.

Seeing the lack of transparency in property management, in 2009, I started Imperial Properties, which is a Winnipeg property management company that manages condominium corporations, rental and commercial properties. In 2019, the year that Imperial celebrated its 10 year anniversary, I opened a mortgage brokerage business called Centum Financial Services Limited Partnership here in Winnipeg, where we help clients purchasing, renewing, or refinancing their home or rental property to assure that they get the best possible mortgage for their specific needs.

As an associate of the Canadian Condominium Institute, board member of the Manitoba Real Estate Association and vice-president of the International Real Estate Federations World Council of Property Managers, I have both local and international insight that I look forward to sharing with you.

Most recently, I launched the ONE Property Away Strategy in Winnipeg, which shows how you can change your life by owning even a single rental property. I look forward to connecting with local real estate professionals that include agents, lawyers, appraisers, interior designers, architects, builders, insurance, brokers, lenders, and more.
